THANKS! I'll read a little later - just took a quick glance. I'm printing
out and will get this into my instruction notebook - I'm sure someone is
going to ask sooner or later .... thanks again!

Subject: [APG] PAF input fields are NOT hard coded
> PAF lets the user create Custom Templates for the data entry screens. By
doing so, you can list only the fields you want, and delete those you
do't -- and the fields you can add are whatever you want, including Bar/Bat
Mitzvahs, Circumcision dates, etc. If there are no predifined input options
for an event you want to always be shown on your template, you can define
new events, also. To learn how to do all this, search the PAF help files
for the topic "How to Create or Modify a Template". I think PAF is a much
more powerful and flexible program than most people give it credit for,
because they never go beyond the default options. For example, there are
language options in PAF 4 and PAF 5 worth examining if English is not the
language in which a user is most proficient, and there is the ability, via
Unicode, to use absolutely any kind of foreign language character in an
input field. This does create problems with GEDCOM, but if I am inputing a
place name in Eastern Euro!

to input the Cyrillic characters.
