For June and others who asked, I bought my refurb projector in 2001 online
from a company called Adtech Systems in Wayland, Massachusetts. Their URL is
http://www.adtech-sys.com/. At that page, just click on a handy link for
"Used, Closeout & Refurb Deals" to see what they currently have available. I
am not affiliated with the company, but was a satisfied customer.

I was very interested in your post. Did you find the refurbished project
online? If so, could you share with me?

Thanks for your comments. I am emboldened to try a refurbished projector
because I can't really justify the expense of a new one.
