In the middle of this discussion I did notice that at the NGS Winter Warm-up
conference in Phoenix in January, Tom Jones, CG, CGL will be presenting
"Solving Problems with Original Sources" on the Research Techniques track on
Saturday Jan. 22. This may help those who are looking for practical
applications since he will be using case studies to illustrate strategies
for learning about their use and availability.

For those of you who get the electronic newsletter from NGS, the latest
issue announced a "Christmas coupon" discount of pre-December 1 prices for
this conference until December 15. Now that's a present worth asking for!
