Rollie,
I simply stated the facts as stated on their website. Do you call that
publicly impugning their integrity? If so, they are your words and not mine.
In addition, I have asked, three times, that they remove my books from their
website. And, in my case, no, they did not contact me about appropriate fees
and neither would I have permitted that in any case. I can't answer for the
other authors whose works are also listed there. Neither did I check to see
if you had any works listed. If you do not, this should not be an issue with
you. If you do, and you want to let them sell pages from your book, that's
fine with me.

I am no expert on the ins and outs of copyright law compliance
requirements. But before you publicly impugned the integrity of this
organization, did you ascertain whether or not HQRL is paying
appropriate fees to copyright holders? (Or am I crazy in believing that
such payments are a viable option in this type of situation?)
