Date: Mon, 5 Apr 2004 13:44:15 EDT

I would like to invite you all to this biennial event here in Denver:

On August 20-21, 2004, the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies
presents: "Connections...With Your Families, With Your Friends", a two-day seminar
featuring Thomas Jones, Ph.D., CG, Gladys Friedman Paulin, CGRS, and Pamela
Boyer Porter, CGRS, CGL, with noted regional speakers supplementing the lecture
schedule.

Two tracks of lectures, regional exhibitors, local societies, all will be
present to provide an outstanding genealogical experience for area researchers at
the historic Teikyo Loretto Heights University (there is even a cemetery
there!) in Denver Colorado. The university has dorm rooms available for
inexpensive onsite accommodations, there is a cafeteria open for daily meals, and how
many conferences offer you a cemetery to visit!

Come early or stay late in Denver, where the Rocky Mountain Region of the
National Archives is a regional NARA center open for daily research, and the
Western History/Genealogy Department of the Denver Public Library is not just for
Colorado..there are thousands of resources available for American historical
and genealogical research.
For registration and program information, contact Bobbi King, Seminar Chair
at , or view the information at the Council web page
http://www.rootsweb.com/~coccgs/dCalendar.htm.

I hope some of you would consider coming to beautiful Colorado to attend this
conference and stay longer to enjoy the mountains or visit with friends...

Bobbi King, Seminar Chair
