Just thought I would drop the group a little note to tell you how I am doing with all of the information I received. I spoke with a representative of Millenia Software (the makers of Legacy 5.0) in regard to the complex family tree issue. (Although Millenia's technical support department doesn't answer phone calls directly, they do indeed promptly return them if an informative message is left.) It took a while to get the tech to understand what I was looking for, but in the end, we both felt that their product would come up short. I appreciated his knowledge and patience, however, and would recommend this product to others on the basis of the professionalism I received.

I'm now off to investigate Gen-Book and The Master Genealogist!

P.S. 'Genealogical Computing' has a staff of software reviewers who are supposed to be quite familiar with the available products. I am going to try and tap into that resource.
