Sorry Ray,in my opinion, for what its worth ( two cents Canadian) the
posting in question is as valid as a any posting by one of us looking for a
professional to do research in the courthouse in Kokomo. I believe that
Myfamily.com is looking for people with certain skill sets that include
genealogical research experience. Just as you or I might be looking for a
genealogist with say, Old Church Slavonic reading skills. I would assume
we are all striving to be professionals. Should those of us who are
professional genealogists earning a salary doing this work be treated
differentlly than those working under contract?

I understand that those of us who subscribe
to the list have no control (other than what we
submit to it) over what appears on that list. I
chose to share my opinion with the list so that
if others disagreed with me, as you did, they
would have the chance to express their opinion.
Okay, if it is useful to some of you, I can live
with it. I guess I'm just tired of the time I
spend clicking the Delete button to get rid of
spam, so that I have little time to deal with the
messages I want to read and reply to. But, like I
said, if it is useful to some of you, I can live
with it. I just wanted to see what the rest of
you thought.
