I started to read Elizabeths article in NGS (Elizabeth Shown Mills,
Genealogy in the Information Age: Historys New Frontier? NGS
Centennial, A special Issue of the National Genealogical Society Quarterly
Vol. 91, No. 4 (December 2003) page261) and didnt get past the first line
before I had an amusing thought that I had to share. Elizabeth writes:
Modern genealogy appropriately done is history in microcosm. Macro and
Microeconomics came immediately to mind and I thought maybe we should change
the name of what we do from genealogy to Micro History :-)
