Subject: [APG] Register Format Question
Date: Fri, 07 Nov 2003 13:11:14 -0700
I am trying to compile a family descendency in Register Format. One
family had only one son who lived to adulthood. In the 1900 and 1910
census records, his mother said she was the mother of 7 children, with
only one still living. I have been unable to find any records listing
these other six children. What is the proper way to handle these
children? I don't even know their sex, so I can't list them as Miss
Jones or Mr. Jones.
Should I list them with the brother, with individual numbers for each of
them? Or should I just add a sentence in the paragraphs about their
parents telling what I know about them?
I am new to this format, and I want to make my family history accurate.
Thanks,
