Connie--

_The Palatine Immigrant_ (publication of Palatines to America) has
included several articles discussing the reliability of _Germans to
America_. All three are by Prof. Dr. Antonius Holtmann of Oldenburg,
Germany:

"_Germans to America_: 50 Volumes that are Not to be Trusted." vol. 22
#2 (March 1997), p. 80-87
"Missing Baltimore Arrivals in _Germans to America_." vol. 24 #1 (Dec
19987), p. 21-25. (p. 25 is a summary of "Twelve Pitfalls in _Germans
to America_").
"_Germans to American_ in Three Parts: Pitfalls Without End..." vol. 27
#3 (June 2002), p. 140-177 (deals with both the CD and the book)
