I can understand about that citation quest. I just found a name on a
passenger list and the passenger list stated the response to city of birth
and the response from the passenger gave what he gave. I have nothing to
either confirm or not confirm that place of birth. I will be getting the
naturalization papers soon and will then try for a civil birth record in
Hungary, but in the meantime all I have for birth is what is given on the
passenger list.
In the meantime I have been communicating on a list for Hungarian research
and one person keeps telling me that it is not possible for them to have
been born in that town, they just gave it as their place of departure. So
you can see how frustrating that can be.
Now it is patient time...wait, wait..wait..
