Although I would not want to see anyone use
the mailing list for advertising, I have found
various mentions of products, services, software,
etc. that other genealogists have found and
deemed useful helpful. I would suggest that
anyone on this list NOT promote any product,
service, etc. which they have an interest in (and
I am NOT accusing anyone of having done so);
that, unless a discussion develops, such postings
be limited to a single advisory, and that the
subject line be clear enough that anyone who is
not interested can delete or skip the message
without reading it. Then, those who find such
postings useful (on occasion, in my case;
possibly others use them more often) can continue
to receive them, and those who are uninterested
won't need to be unduly bothered.
Just my $.02 worth. ;<)
