I'm sorry I didn't know a conference was a product.

I didn't know it was a sin to let people know about a major event in the
genealogical community. I have read several post for NGS and FGS conferences in
the past as well as received several items for sell by individual members on
this list. I have even received post about your personal soundex system.
I was not selling anything! I was just letting the members know about an
online Conference taking place. Which, I believe is absolutely wonderful way to
experience a large genealogical event. Especially if you cannot participate in
one of the other National events. This is a simple stepping stone to make more
people aware of items available in genealogy. It also lets people experiences
other classes that may not necessarily be offered at a major conference.

I'm sorry you feel that way. So you are saying that a beginner in genealogy
should just know who these venders are? Or are you saying that if they are at
your level in genealogy, they should not do business with these companies
unless they can make it to a genealogical event so they can have a piece of candy?
In my opinion having virtual booths online is only helping the participants
have a more rounded genealogical experience.

You can contact the people at Family History Radio. They are wonderful people
and very excited to be able to present a new step in genealogy. It is called
being innovative.
As for me I do not work for Family History Radio. I only believe they have a
wonderful concept.
Gary or anyone else, I would suggest that you check out this link <A HREF="http://www.ngsgenealogy.org/comstandself.htm">Click
