Chris,
I don't know about Lumbermen, but at the FGS conference in Quad Cities, there
was a talk "My Papa Was a Woodman"; speaker was Gail Ann Hodges Levis, the
Archivist of "Modern Woodmen of America" which is today a Fraternal Life
Insurance Society. Her Email was listed in the syllabus as <-
woodmen.org> The Insurance co web site is <www.modern-woodmen.org>
I have had luck with old organizations doing a google search. Some even have
a 'genealgoy' link!
But no Lumberman direstories. Sorry.
Gladys
