I learned today that the Family History Library is cutting its hours. Currently,
the library is open on Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday-Saturday from
7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Starting in July, the new hours on Monday will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and
Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Those of you who like to wait in line for the
library to open will now get a little extra sleep, and you can go to bed earlier
at night.

I haven't heard whether there will be any adjustments to the hours of the
FamilySearch Center in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. I also don't know the
reason for the reduction in hours.
