I know of one utility "WordPort" (there may well be others) that will
probably do the job for your client. It's one I've successfully used in the
past but have not used any recent version. It's only purpose is to
translate word processing files from one format to another. Among the
formats it handles are: pfs:Write (1A, 1B, 1C); pfs:Write version 2
(Spinnaker); pfs:Professional Write (1.x, 2.x, 3.x); pfs:First Choice
(versions 1, 2, 3). "WordPort" is a product of Advanced Computer
Innovations, 30 Burncoat Way, Pittsford, NY 14534-2216; (716) 383-1939; fax
(716) 383-8428
I have no financial interest in this company. They have a web site
http://www.acii.com which offers a number of options including evaluation
copies and a full list of file formats handled. It may be worth checking
out.
