We got the short census form, but I did want to pass on this anecdote. I got
home from a road trip for genealogy and found the form on the kitchen
counter, already filled out by my (I swear) intelligent husband. I told him
I wanted to xerox it before mailing it and brought it to my home office.
There I found that he had misspelled our daughter's name.

More than that, our adopted daughter is Native American. In the space
labelled "print name of the enrolled or principle tribe" he had put the name
of the tribe, but I noticed that the actual full federally-recognized name
wouldn't fit in the spaces provided. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Yours, Barbara
