Thankyou for checking your info-John and I am happy you are feeling good again--I have learned a lot in the AMREV-Hessians Archives....
The Balthasar-Balser Schaeffer in Baltimore, MD was the son of Balthasar Schaeffer from Lancaster County, PA.
Ther Balser Shaver from Pendelton County was the son of my Palser "Balser" Shaver in Rockingham County, VA.
Looking at the HETRINA VI lookup -I was trying to better decipher the codes....16-17 one was separate from America-the other separate from Europe.....could you tell me what that means.....was that a discharge code?
Yes--I realize this MAY NOT be my guy---and as with any bit of "new " info--have to double research it all out....and determine the true info--even at the LDS library...so much incorrect info has been put out there as our family history which is totally false.
