I need information as to the date(s) when Jim Daly ran for office for the Sheriff of Walker County, Alabama so that I can publish this in the quarterly from material donated by a member of the Walker County Genealogical Society, Inc. Included in this material donated is a campaign poster for Jim Daly running for Sheriff of Walker County showing a caricature of Jim Daly standing in the Sheriff's office door kicking out persons with these written across their bodies as they are being kicked out: "Blind Tiger", "Old Force", and "Road House". The statement over this is "HELP DALY clean out the Sheriff's office and rid Walker County of Road-Houses and Blind Tigers. Vote for Jim Daly for Sheriff". Below this is "Daly has 23 years experience as Detective, State Investigator and Deputy Sheriff. Daly knows the job and will perform his duties fearlessly and will enforce the law according to law. Daly will not employ snitches."
If anyone knows the dates of this poster or dates of his terms as the offices held mentioned above, please reply.
