George Washington and Elizabeth Phillips & family information:
After requesting and receiving information from the Alabama Archives at
Montgomery I discovered that this was not my Phillips line so I decided I
would share with others to see if anyone needed this information. The
census was taken Dec. 21, 1840.

Dwelling: 368368 - Stephen Phillips, age (either 24 or 34 - can't read
it) farmer
born in Tenn.
either Lucinda or Luvenia Phillips, age 24, born in S. Car.
Martha, age 3, born in Alabama
Thomas M. age 2, born in Alabama
Lucinda or Luvenia, age 1, born in Alabama

Dwelling:369369 - George W. Phillips age 37 farmer born in Alabama
Elizabeth, age 30, born in Kentucky
John H. age 13, born in Alabama
Nancy ?, age 10, born in Alabama
Mary Ann age 7, born in Alabama
George W. age 4, born in Alabama
Solomon, age 2, born in Alabama
Robert Phillips, age 61, farmer born in Virginia
