they weren't married in Alabama they were married either in Sc or Georgia.
John Lee and his second wife Winny first show on the1850 Alabama , Wilcox co
census with thier children ,Then on the Perry co. census of 1870 for Alabama
then I find three of thier sons in Chambers co. Alabama in 1870,Then the last
time i find John Lee and Winny is in Walker co. Alabama 1880 census .John Lee's
first wife was Annie Wray . So i have been told from my proffesor. Don't know
exactly when he died but it must have been between 1880 and 1890 Cause on the
1880 census he is 80 yrs old. From what i have been sent by my proffesor his
father was John Lee who married Hannah Cooper . I am trying to find out where
his grave is . Thought it would be nice to take my children to it on Memorial
day . Kinda teach them what it was about how we are suppose to honor the
family passed on . Also i am trying to find out more about him ,what his middle
name was weather or not his first wife motherd his children or was it Winny and
what was Winny's maiden name.
