I'm looking for descendants of Hiram & Josephine (Josie) Ellison Crawford.
Hiram was born abt. 11/1875, probably in Morgan County, AL, and died 1/9/1939
in Walker County, AL. Josie was born 5/1877 and died 11/4/1961 in Walker
County, AL. They are buried at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Empire,
AL. They had at least 6 children, according to census records. Two of their
sons, Trav & Leedell married in Walker County, AL. Trav married Vernes J.
Cannon on 5/19/1929 and Leedell married Gertrude Banks on 11/18/1938. The
names of their other children were: Dora, Cora, Burrell & Josie. Hiram was a
coal miner and apparently moved wherever there was work. He & Josie are in a
different county on every census (1900 -1930).

If anyone can put me in touch with some of their descendants, I would really
appreciate it.
