My great great grandfather, William Warner, guilty of shirking from a
commitment to the Civil War, fled to Oklahoma where he married Eliza and
had my great grandmother, Jewel Opal Warner in 1905.

William Warner, however, is an alias and I am not sure how to go about
finding his real name. My family has a hunch that his real surname is
Adkins or Akins. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on where I
should go in an effort to resolve this mystery?
