Hi, I am new to this list and I was hoping that someone might be able to help
me. Here is my story: My grandfather was born in 1908, his mother was Anna
BOYLIN and his birth father was Sam ADAMS. Anna and Sam were not married at
the time, so my grandfather was sent to live with an uncle by the name of
John GETZ. My grandfather took the Getz name but we don't know if the name
was ever legally changed. My grandfather's name was Carl R. Getz I. He
passed away in 1980, and my grandmother passed away in 1997. There is no one
else left alive who might be able to shed some light on this. We are
wondering what happened to Sam Adams and if he had any other children. We
are also looking for any decendants of Anna Boylin. All of this took place
in Johnstown Pa. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
