Hi everyone!

I am new to the List. I am trying to find some information for a friend
whose father died in plane crash 2 Feb 1955 approaching Port Harcourt
airport. He was the pilot and I believe it was more of a cargo flight
rather than passengers. My friend has a transcript of the report of the
crash, but apparently, there is a memorial to her father in LAGOS where he
was living with his wife and daughter.

We would like to locate this memorial if possible.
The pilot's name was Derrick William COX born London England 1922 - so
would have been about 33yrs old. My friend was only 4yrs old at the time
and does not know much about her father.

Does anyone know of such a memorial or where I can get some information to
locate it?
