Hi Listers:
New to this list but not to geneology.
I am trying to find information regarding the following family.
Rebecca FLETCHER b.18?? England d.1956.S.Africa. She married Frank WOOD, a widower with 3 older children. One son of Frank's was an M.P. Frank was a former military man. Rebecca lived in Wynberg nr. Cape Town at some time.
I am aware of two children of this union.
Leonard WOOD b.1914 S.Africa and perished 1941 aboard the "Repulse" during WWII.
Marjorie WOOD b 1917 S.Africa and m. John MATHEWS 1942 Cape Colony, S. Africa. They moved to the Transvaal to live.
If anyone has any information regarding these people I would be very grateful to hear from them.
I am the grand niece of Rebecca FLETCHER.
