I havent sent anything for years and been waiting for a name to pop up for
me.....so here's the story....

My mother was born in Zimbabwe as Gillian Hower or Hawer. Her mother was
Elizabeth King. She was in an orphanage, Emerald Hill, and they wont give me
any info. I have tried to get her birth certificate many times....send the
$$ and nothing in return.

Elizabeth was from the Bindura area. She had a sister with a child, might
have been a twin sister, don't know for fact. Might have had red hair
too....

Gillian was born in Harare in November 1947.

I want to know who my grandmother is. I know she had alcohol issues and may
have been mentally ill. That I don't care about. (between an autistic child
and a bi-polar child- and a touretts child....who cares I don't have to
raise her :)) I am sure she is gone at this point, but that's not the issue.

My greatest hope is to get a photo of her, and some family history.

All I have for medical history is my mom and my one living brother. My other
brother died from a heart deformation this past Sept (he wasn't supposed to
live past infancy....guess 36 years was good for him)

Any Hower/Hawer or Kings please respond. You might have some family in
Missouri :)
