Subject: Madgen-Green Ancestors

Hello there list,



I am presently searching for ancestors of Robert
Madgen ex of St Johns Chapel UK and his offspring that went to Zimbabwe to
mine approx 1890-1900 time frame. Robert returned eventually and died in St
Johns but Leonard stayed and died at Shabanie Mine hospital. Jane Ann,
known as Jinni, married a Patterson Pattinson or Pattison and had children
Ernest and Frank. Margaret known as Meggie married a Bill Green and they
had children Dorothy, Connie and William. Connie married a Chef who worked
at the Victoria Falls hotel until he passed, Connie also now dead.



Robert Jnr died in the first world war in 1917 Belgium, John returned and
married Jessie Flora Wearmouth and had children including my father in law
John Stephen Madgen.. Also a Robson Madgen was in the mines but went to
Canada and became a pioneer, and another went to Australia we believe know
as William Francis Madgen..



If anyone knows anything about this family of descendants we would dearly
love to hear from anyone :-)
