Hello from Australia. My GGrandfather, Reuben BAILEY went to Rhodesia
around 1896 and is reported to have "died in South Africa" between 1896
and 1904.

I know that when people here in Australia said "South Africa" it could have
been anywhere from Cairo to Cape Town. Anyway, South Africa was not formed
til 1910 and there is no trace of his death there.

I know for a fact that he was in Bulawayo in 1897 and that is one reason
that I believe that he died in Rhodesia.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance that anyone can give me
