Hi,

My name is Ron Hamilton and I live in Woodley, Cheshire, England. I am trying
to trace the above lady or any of her family.

Pamela was born in Wigan, Lancashire, around the 1920s. She married Thomas
McHugh about 1946/47. Tragically, Tommy died within 18 months of them getting
married.

Pamela, later emmigrated to Africa, we believe in the the 1950s. Where she
went to we have no idea. I do know that she was a nurse. I understand that
she re-married but I have no idea if she married under her widowed name or
her original maiden name. I am making enquiries over here to try and access
her maiden name. The information hasn't yet come to hand.

Tommy had a brother called Edward, he was about 8 years older than Tom. Their
parents were Tom and Sarah Agnes McHugh.

My connection to the family is through my wife, Christine McHugh. Her father
was Edward. Christine was a bridesmaid at the marriage of Pamela and Tom. We
still have the original framed marriage photo that Tom gave to Eddie and my
mother-in-law, Elsie.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated and we are hoping that we can
trace the family.
