Hello Petrus and Listers:

To ensure that everyone sees/understands/reads your
post, please include an English translation also.

I encourage all to post in their native language and
(be kind) an English translation also.

Afrikaans is not native to me, so I can understand if
English is not native to you.

Should that become the problem we can all put our
heads together and I'm sure Afrikaaners of this list
can translate for fellow-lister who may not speak
English or cannot translate into English.

Send us your thoughts/suggestions.

Remember: "This is (Y)OUR List."

Manaia there are so few on this list and those who are speak both languages
and Afrikaans comes naturally to most. So we can follow.
What names are you researching? You can see Petrus has listed his names and
most list administrators start the ball rolling by contributing.
I asked you once before about your names. They are distinctly Polynesian
Pacific. What is your connection with SWA?

Kia ora/Hello Patricia:

Please post any queries/concerns you may have
regarding Namibia family history and I'm sure
fellow-listers are more than happy to help out.

At the moment, I'm attending classes on how to build
websites for the many African countries I admin.

I am grateful knowledgeable listers can assist those
wishing to break a few brick walls and/or learn more
about the country their ancestors originated from or
may have visited on their travels long ago.

Remember: "I give a wide latitude to list discussion

Please send us your thoughts.

Hi Desiree,
I found 213 Jost on the Hamburg departure lists. Can I have a bit
more information please. First names and approximate dates of birth,
year only is ok, if you have all that.
