Hi Colin,
a lot of the Woermann line ships left from Hamburg. Hamburg departure
lists are online with Ancestry.com. Are you looking for anybody in
particular or just in general for their passenger lists. I have
transcribed 1 of their ships not too long ago. They can be found at
www.immigrantships.net. The Alexandra Woermann who had my grandfather
on board. I have access to Ancestry, let me know what you want and I
can try to find it. If you are looking for one name, you can search
at Ancestry. Then let me know and I can get you the information. You
probably know that Ancestry is not free. You can also check at
Hamburg.de, go to the departure lists and search for the name you
want. You get some information. If you want a copy of the page, you
have to pay. Then there is a South African website who has lists. I
can't remember the name but it's run by Delsey Brown.
Hope this helps a bit,
Ines
