Good morning Heinz. It is so good to hear from you again. Oh I do remember
all you did for me. and Desiree....
And I have been doing some surfing. About 6 months ago (and I will look it
up again when I have finished this message to you)
I found a photograph which showed the Rehoboth Museum. Now I am convinced
that it is in the house in which we lived 1928-34. It was then the police
sergeant's house. As you remember My father was the police sergeant! I have
compared the photos with those I have of our house.
However several emails got absolutely no response.
And Desiree, I used to play with a child Du Plessis. I think her father was
also a policeman. What their names were I have no idea now.
Heinz, is there any way you can get a response from Rehoboth for me?
I am so excited.

Hi there,
I am looking for graves for Stephanus Petrus and his wife Francina Susanna
nee DU PLESSIS whose last known address was in SWA at the time of their
son's death in 1930 (son was 53 at the time of his death).

Hello Marie
I live in Windhoek and are also on the NAMIBIA List. I am from German
descent and research for the last 15 to 20 years my family which has no
connection to Namibia, since I am living here only as from 1974. But I am
also on the Namibia List. I have a few adressbooks from the past, back to
1914, and was able to assist several researchers already with this adress
books.
(My wife's father is Mr Wannenmacher from the Europa-Hotel in Swakopmund)
Hello Pat
We corresponded already in about 2000/2001 about your family and the KNOTT
family I did send you information which I obtained from the adress books.
There is now a Museum in Rehoboth, but I would not know which buildings did
stand before on this place. Rehoboth has expended the last 30 years a lot. I
do not know anything particulary about the dam in /rehoboth, but there is a
dam outside , the Oanob dam which is a well known tourist spot for people
from Windhoek. You can run your motor boat there and stay overnight in nice
bungalows.
Best regards from Windhoek
