Hello Everyone

I am currently a member of the INDIA-L list and have now found my ancestor
joining the British Army (30th Regiment) and leaving the Cape of Good Hope in
1828

Can anyone help me with my search for A J P BARTELS (middle names John
Philip) who would have been a young man in 1828 - I am also looking for his marriage
to (3rd wife) Emma Augustina KEYES and the birth of the following children
Albert Louis BARTELS b.1838/1839, Frederick James Keyes BARTELS b.1854, May
Mabel A BARTELS b.1857

I would be very interested to hear from anyone with the BARTELS name and
exchange information.

I am also interested in the history of Elmina, the burials at Elmina Cemetery
and the Governor General Carl Ludwig BARTELS who died in 1808.
