TOTALLY WAY COOL!!! I haven't found too much on him before now. My cousin did send me some Bible records a couple months ago, and that's the most I've ever gotten. What do you have on them? Here's what I have, enjoy!!

Genealogy of the BUCHAN Family

JAMES BUCHAN and STEWART GORRIE were married at Perth, in Scotland, by the Rev’d. Mr. Moodie, on the eleventh (11th) day of June, 1794. They had seven (7) children.
1st a daughter, born the 20th day of January, 1796. Baptized LILLIAS, by the Rev. Rob’t. Stirling, Crieff.
2nd a son, born the 24th of Feb. 1798-baptized JOHN, BY THE Rev. Mr Stirling, Crieff.
3rd a daughter, born the 12th of Sept. 1800 – baptized STEWART, by the Rev’d. R. Stirling, Crieff.
4th a son, born the 3rd of May- baptized JAMES, by the Rev. Robert Stirling, Crieff, in the year 1802.
On the 29th of Nov. 1803, JAMES BUCHAN with his wife and four children, left Crieff, to reside in Glasgow. Their fifth child was born in Glasgow, the 14th of April, 1804- baptized Margaret by the Rev. James McLean, Gorbals, Glasgow.
6th a daughter, born the 11th of May, 1806, baptized AMELIA IMRIE (?) by the Rev. Mr. McLaren, Glasgow.
7th a son, born the 5th of Nov, 1808, baptized PATRICK, by the Rev. Mr. McEwen, Baldernook….
the fourth child of James Buchan and Stewart Gorrie- baptized JAMES-married CAROLINE TRUAX. This child, James Buchan, born in the town of Crieff, in the county of Perth, in Scotland, on the third (3rd) of may, 1802, emigrated to Newfoundland, North America, 1814. From Newfoundland, removed to the United States of America; when married, settled in Rochester, N.Y.
