Per DOBR, she was his cousin. Edouard Camille's birth is recorded as Edward
and marriage as Camille. Below is the DOBR ref.

Note: Narcisse Templet was the son of Servant Templet and Celeste Aucoin.
He was born 13 July 1807, bt. 11 Oct 1807 (DOBR,v.3, pg. 810)

Clarisse Blanchard,b1796 Plattenville married Florentin Francois
Templet, b 1793 married in 1817. One of their sons, Edouard Camille
Templet married Adelaide Elmine TEMPLET .
Would anyone know if Adaleide's maiden name was actually Templet.
The marriage took place 1854, probably in Assumption Parish at
Plattenville. I recently received this information from a Templet
researcher. Been checking sources and I cannot find a record of this
marriage. Would someone please do a look-up for me.
By the way, part of this line leads back to -ONE MORE TIME, Jean
Claude (Landry) & Marie Sall*-!. I am in the process of forwarding the
researcher some of the posts from this Forum in order for her records to
be corrected.
