While I haven't been a member of this list since DAY ONE, only a few
months, I certainly had no intention of getting people's dander up. I was
merely injecting some lighthearted sarcasm to bring a smile to everyone's
day. I certainly didn't want anyone to have to answer "ridicule". Let's
lighten up a bit people.

I think it's fair to say that we all hold Stephen White in the realm
of the "professional" but that doesn't mean that the man has time to read
everything on everybody; so it's also fair to say that we "couch
genealogists" may stumble across something Stephen White hasn't.

The reason I like to inject some humor is because, while reading
these emails from the 'regulars' like Lucie, Carole, and others (you know
who you are), the conversations just seem so tense sometimes. I'm just
trying to remind everyone that this is supposed to be fun and exciting -
discovering our past. So let's have fun.
