I'm hoping someone may be able to help with any information on Sinai
LECOUTEUR, who was my husband's great great grandfather. He was born
circa 1832 and married Sara CHIASSON (Jean-Chrysostome and Marie
BRIDEAU) on 29 Sept 1851. This marriage resulted in the birth of 10
children. A second marriage to Marie MALLET (widow of Philippe
DUCLOS) on 10 Oct 1887 produced 4 or 5 more children. Would anyone be
able to give me a clue as to the ancestry of Sinai Lecouteur? It's
possible his father was named John, married to a Marie ? and/or a
Blanche Chiasson. Sinai may have been brother to Charles, Philip,
Elizabeth and Mary Anne. Any help at all would be appreciated, as I'm
really quite stuck on this one. Thanks in advance.
