And if we are not talking about shoes I can explain the meanings of A, B, C,
D, DD, etc as thay have to do with cup size in bras. Example: a 36 B. 36
is the band size, a measurement taken just below the breasts. Next take a
measurment across the fullest part of the breast. The difference in inches
equals the cup size. One inch is an A cup, 2 in. a B, 3 in. is a C. Most
companies go to double D or possibley triple D. A few companies go from D
to E, F, G, up through at least I. I think I saw a J somewhere. Anyway a
DD is the same as an E, and a DDD is the same as a G.

Amazing what you learn when you are in the business.
