I would like to see About-Words continue. Sometimes I like that there is
not TOO much discussion. At least this way I have time to read what is
here.

If we want more discussion we may need to drag the lurkers out of their
closets. Part of the problem may be that some of you guys know so much,
have so many resources, and been so into etymology and word usage for so
long, that the rest of us feel like idiots and we are afraid to even ask a
question.

More often in my case, though I do feel pretty dumb here sometimes, I think
of a question I want to ask when I am not near my computer. By the time I
am online again, I have forgotten what I was going to post. Maybe it is
old-timers disease catching up with me.

BTW does anyone know whatever happened to the original WORDS list? Is it
still going? Is mad max, or whatever his name was, still there?
