It tells the story of this water grist mill that was established in 1816 and was owned and operated by four generations of Rexrode until it closed in 1944. It's an original document to a Jacob Mitchell and signed by Wm Hoover, WS Rau,Puffenberger, Colow, 2 Nelsons, and a Wm. Zieab????(can't make it out). The starting price was about 7.99 and there were no current bids. Just passing on the info. I have no personal interest in this. Do an Ebay search on Highland Cty, VA to find the item. I forgot to write down the name of the vendor. Mr. Hamrick was suppose to give me directions but I haven't heard back from him in years, nor has he reply to my personal E mails. One of the local news papers was there to do a story and had taken pictures, but I haven't been able to find out which news paper. I do know the McCoy's lived a mile south of the post office (at that time) in Doe Hill. Anyhow, thanks for replying to me.
