I found the obituary which stated his name was Aulderic (sometimes Ulderic) ---i cant believe military drafts, voting records and census..all signed differently....also confusing was the birth. It looks like he was born in Chelsea, ma, but it still looks like my grandma bertha, still dont know a maiden name, could be from canada. I cannot find a single birth record for any of them, and can only find one obit. Heard there were ties to louisiana but i am sooooo lost and aggravated, dont know what to do,.
