Duhhh.<BR><BR>If the triangles are dark *green*, it means Excel thinks there's a conflict<BR>between the default format for the cell and the keystrokes you entered. I have two members in my projects whose names are "Anonymous<BR>[SURNAME]" -- with me, the project admin, as the contact person. <BR><BR>Be aware that whoever *purchases* the kit would presumably be recognized as the<BR>legal owner of the sample [anyone tested this legal issue yet?]. I think it's<BR>far more important to remain the legal owner of one's sample than it is to<BR>remain anonymous as the test subject. I tell people to be much more worried<BR>about someone knowing their Social Security number than knowing their DNA test<BR>results -- and I'd much rather have someone know my haplotype than my weight!<BR><BR>Seriously, once I had my mtDNA FGS (full genetic sequence) analyzed for any<BR>medical problems (there were none), I am so unconcerned that I've made my FGS<BR>public. <BR><BR>Speaking frankly, I think it's unfair to be anonymous. Everyone else is sharing<BR>their identity with theirr matchees, so remaining anonymous makes it a one-way<BR>street. "You show me yours, but I won't show you mine."
